Present Epiphany Salon & Environmental Retail Center, Owner, Cosmetologist. Traverse City, Michigan. Servicing client needs in hair and skin care with a 100% retention rate.

1985-1987 Justin Parrish Salon, Traverse City, Michigan, Cosmetologist

1990-1997 Career-Tech Center, Instructor. Traverse City, Michigan.

Second year department director. Vocational instructor heading advanced classes in cosmetology and salon operations. Duties included; Curriculum development in communications, retailing and employability skills. Development of nail program and instructors program. Training of students studying for certification of instructors license. Grading and evaluation of daily production, citizenship and testing. Training for State Board Examination. Training and implementation of salon software management. Developed retail department adding retail sales to curriculum. Development of salon financial records. Compiled OSHA Data updating safety material and instruction to meet OSHA standards. Instilled incentive programs in service and retail through contests and client retention systems. Taught and designed lessons in cutting, perming, coloring, product knowledge, chemistry, electricity, make-up and employability skills. Updated equipment in salon. Brought in professional products ,such as, Flora Spa, RedKen, Creative Nail and Sebastain's make-up line. Developed Marketing material and service menu for front desk. Modeled customer service and salon philosophy, "Clients come first."

Supported site-based management representing the Professional Service Division on the Operations Counsel. This was an elected position. Also participated with the School Improvement Committee and the North Central Accreditation. (NCA) Committee. Other committee involvement's included; the marketing committee and VICA.

1995-1997 National Educator. Publicly speaking and training of automation in salon management, goal setting and leadership. As well as, publicly addressing student recruitment and retention in the school and salon setting.

Recruited while in high school and the vocational college, this Seligman and Latz salon structured my training providing classes with masters such as, Arnold Zegarelli, John and Suzanne Chadwick, and Adrien Arpel.
